The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, September 17, 1962

Mrs. Delia P. Stoddard, 92, widow of Arthur A. Stoddard, died at her Muir 
residence, 262 Liberty street, Saturday afternoon after a long illness.  She 
died in the same house where she was born July 5, 1870, the daughter of Jacob 
and Mary Probasco.  Mrs. Stoddard was a member of First Christian church of 
Muir.  

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. E. Robert Breining of Muir, and a grandson, 
Ivan Breining of Spartan Village, East Lansing.

Private funeral service will be conducted at the residence Tuesday at 2 p.m. 
with the Rev. John Frye of Sand Lake officiating.  Interment will be at Muir 
cemetery.  Arrangements are by Stone-Kauffman funeral home.
