Ionia County News - Thurs. Aug. 3, 1933

Mrs. Emily Stoddard died Sunday, July 30, at her home on M-14, five miles north 
of Ionia.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adrial Pierce, she was born 82 years ago on the 
farm adjoining her late home. 

Surviving relatives are her two sons, Charles on the home farm ad Ambrose of 
Alhambra, Calif.; three grandchildren, Mrs. Joseph W. Howorth, Mary and Ambrose 
Stoddard. Mr. Stoddard died 40 years ago. 

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Paul L. Stewart, from the home Tuesday 
morning at 10:30. Burial was in Woodard Lake Cemetery.
