Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Nov. 9, 1936

Mrs. Nellie Stoddard, 52, died Saturday morning, November 7, at the University 
hospital in Ann Arbor after an illness of two weeks.

He was born in McBrides, January 31, 1884. On December 21, 1904, she married 
Charles Stoddard. She had lived near Ionia for 32 years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Hattie Belknap, of 
Blanchard; three children, Mary, at home; Mrs. Joseph Howorth of Ronald 
township, and Ambrose, from Orleans; two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Covell, Blanchard 
and Mrs. William Coll, of Fowlerville; one brother, Robert Belknap, and four 
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the home on M-14 Tuesday afternoon, November 
10, at 2 o’clock, with Rev. Paul Stewart officiating. Burial will be in the 
Woodard Lake cemetery.
