Rites Held at Sunfield For Flossie Stoel

Mrs. Flossie Stoel, 86, passed away Tuesday night at the Ionia County Memorial 
Hospital, a short time after admittance and had been a patient at the Ionia 
Manor about six months.

She was born in Sebewa, June 13, 1890 and had spent her early life in the area. 
She and her first husband, Harry Kelly resided in Iowa for several years and 
also resided at Muskegon. He passed away in 1938 and she later remarried Louis 
Stoel and they resided at rural Portland until his death in 1961 and she then 
moved to Lake Odessa where she has since resided.

Surviving are four stepsons, Raymond and Herman Stoel of Denver, Colo., Andrew 
Stoel of Williston, Fla. and Gerald Stoel of Sunfield; 18 grandchildren and 18 
great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 10:30 at the Mapes-Fisher Funeral Home at 
Sunfield.
