Deceased was one of the grand good mothers of the German settlement in north-east section of Ionia. She is a native of Germany, and came to Ionia direct from the fatherland seventeen years ago. She is the mother of thirteen children, all of whom, happily, are alive. They are, from the eldest down, as follows: Mrs. Ricka Bremer and Mrs. Lena Achafeld, both of Glenn Allen, Ill., Mrs. Minnie Dosher and Mrs. Anna Kare, both of Marengo, Ill.; Mrs. Mary Sander, Ionia; Mrs. Bertha Heiden, Ionia; Mrs. Edith Kramer, Belvidere, Ill.; Helmuth, Miss Lizzie, Herman, William, and Mrs. Augusta Rubach, all of Ionia; and Albert of Woodstock, Ill. Hers is the first death in the large family. The funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Stoll, at the Lutheran church Tues. afternoon, was a very large one. The five children living in Illinois arrived this morning for the sad home-coming, and all the thirteen living children, with the bereaved husband, followed her precious remains to the last earthly resting place in Highland Park.
