She had been critically ill since May. Born in Defiance, Ohio, January 26, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hull, she married Charles Stone in 1902 at Defiance, Ohio. In 1910 they moved to Ronald township where they have since made their home. She was a member of the Ronald Willing Workers and belonged to the Methodist church at Ayersville, Ohio. She was a past president and secretary of the Ronald Willing Workers ant at the time of her death was president of the Woodard lake cemetery association. Surviving are the husband, Charles; one son, Floyd, of Ronald; and her mother, Mrs. Sarah Imhoff of Ronald. One daughter, Esther, died at the age of 11 years. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Stone funeral home on East Washington street, Ionia. Interment will be at the Woodard lake cemetery. Subsequent Publication, Tuesday, September 10, 1940 Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Grace Stone, wife of Charles Stone of Ronald township, were held from the Stone funeral home on East Washington in Ionia Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. Paul L. Stewart officiated and interment was held at the Woodard lake cemetery. Bearers were George Stedman, John Stedman, Carl Higbee and Herbert Ward. Those attending from out of town were Mrs. Nettie Shaw and Mrs. Carl Foreman of Ithaca; Mr. and Mrs. Pearle Rowe and Mrs. Bertha Fisher of Alma; Mrs. Carrie Cowle, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Wellman, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Wellman, Mrs. Clara Kneese of Defiance, Ohio; T. C. Ashton, Donald Ashton and Mrs. Addie and Clara Stone of Defiance, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Piper of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Ormal Stone of Hillsdale and Mr. and Mrs. Harley Greenamyre and son, William, of Clarksville.
