Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Feb. 26, 1934

ST. JOHNS, MICH. Feb. 26 – Funeral services will be held at St. Johns Tuesday 
afternoon for Frank T. Stone for 30 years a telegraph operator for the Grand 
Trunk railway, who died suddenly yesterday at his home here of a heart 
affliction. Recently he had been working in Ionia, but continued to live here. 
He was 57 years of age. Mr. Stone was prominent in Masonic activities and for 
17 years had been the city assessor of St. Johns. Surviving are his widow; a 
son, Frank, Jr. and a daughter, Helen J. Stone, all of St. Johns. 

Mr. Stone had been night track operator at the Grand Trunk depot for some time.
