The Lowell Ledger, Thursday, February 7, 1907


The death of Mrs. William Stone, aged 63 years, which occurred last night at 
her home southeast of the village, is the third in the family within two 
weeks, her mother and husband having been buried on the last two successive 
Sundays.  No arrangements have yet been made for the funeral services.

The family have lived in Boston township thirty-six years, having emigrated 
from New York, and were held in high regard throughout the community.  Mrs. 
Stone was the last member of the family, as there are no children.  At the 
time of her husband’s death, last Thursday, she was very ill with pneumonia 
and, being weakened by the shock of his loss, she failed rapidly in spite of 
the loving care of her friends.
