The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, May 8, 1969

A former Ionia resident, William Storey, 83, died in Knox, Ind., Wednesday.  
He was born in Ionia, June 16, 1885.  He was employed at the Sorrosis plant in 
Ionia before moving to Three Rivers in 1933 and to Knox, Ind., in 1934, where 
he lived until time of his death.

His wife, Lena, preceded him in death in 1955.  He was a charter member of 
Ionia American Legion and also member of First Presbyterian church.

Surviving are a son William Storey of Chelsea; seven grandchildren; two 
sisters, Mrs. Emery Danner of Hillsdale and Mrs. Glen Boardman of Detroit.  

Funeral service swill be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home.  Rev. 
Robert McComb of First Presbyterian church will officiate.  Interment will be 
at Highland Park cemetery.  Mr. Storey may be seen at the funeral home after 7 
p.m. Friday.
