STOREY KILLED IN GERMANY Cpl. Maurice J. Storey of Lake Odessa was killed in action in Germany April 4, according to a message from the war department received Tuesday by his wife, Mrs. Betty Hazzard Storey. Corporal Storey had been overseas since September.He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Storey in Sebewa township and was born October 8, 1916, in Portland township. He was graduated from the Portland high school in 1934 and worked on his father's farm until he entered service in November, 1942. He received his training at Camp Bell, Ky., and Camp Barkley, Tex.. Surviving besides the widow are a 17-month-old daughter Marion Kay, his parents, a brother, Pvt. Max Storey, now in England, and a sister, Mrs. Ned A Bowker in Ionia.
