Ionia Sentinel – Monday, 12 December 1925
Eugene M. Storum, age 54, died Saturday evening at 6:30 at the family 
residence, 113 ˝ Webber court.  Mr. Storum had not been enjoying the best of 
health for a number of years, and had been quite ill for several weeks.

Mr. Storum was a partner in the shoe store with Stanley Nead on West Main 
Street for a number of years.  Since the store went out of business a little 
over a year ago Mr. Storum had not been engaged in active business.

He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Miss Oneita Storum, a student at 
the high school.

The funeral service will be held at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 
o’clock.  Rev. Charles J. Kruse will conduct the service.  The body will be 
placed in the receiving vault at the lakeside cemetery at Lake Odessa.
