Emma Lunette Story -  Emma Lunette Ware was born in Berlin township, Ionia Co.,
Mich., July 24, 1852, and passed away at her home after several weeks illness,
which baffled the skill of the physicians, the afternoon of June 13, 1920,
having lived nearly 68 years, and a little over a week after the death of her
sister.  She came with her parents to Boston township, May 2, 1853, where she
has since resided.  She was married to Matthew T. Story Dec. 8, 1875.  They
lived with her mother one year after being married, then on Jan 1, 1877, started
keeping house in the new home that had just been completed.  Four children were
born to them, Ralph, Carl, Bessie and a tiny girl who lived only a few weeks to
brighten the home and passed away Sept. 3, 1882.  Mrs. Story was especially
interested in her home and family but found time to take part in any gathering
of a social or helpful nature, pertaining to the neighborhood.  She had held the
office of treasurer in the Ladies Aid since its organization.  She leaves to
mourn their loss, the husband, two sons and a daughter, six grandchildren and
only brother S. A. Ware, a large number of nieces, nephews and more distant
relative, besides a large circle of friends and acquaintances, who will miss her
kindly smile and greeting.  It can truly be said of her; the world is better
because she has lived.  Friends from Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Hastings,
Saranac, Lowell, Ionia and Lake Odessa were present at the funeral, which was
held at the home on Wednesday.  Rev. A. H. Lash officiating and was largely
attended.
