Harold Dean Storz passed away on Nov. 2, 2006 at age 78.  He served in both the
Marines and Army.  He graduated from Portland High School in 1946 and Central
Michigan University in 1951, and was retired from RCA.  During the first years
of NASA he worked for them under contract with RCA in personnel.  He was the
organizer of the summer recreation here in Portland, and started the bus trips
to Long Lake for swimming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Melva Storz and one sister,
Nancy.  He is survived by daughters, Shellee (Russell) Davis of Florida, and
Lynne (Russell) Simpson of Virginia; son Gary (Janice) of Georgia; six grandsons
and one granddaughter; and a sister Shirley Storz Smith of Portland.
