Ionia Sentinel, 31 Aug 2001

Eileen Stoudt, aged 78, of Muir passed away Aug. 30, 2001 at her home.  She was 
born July 3, 1923 the daughter of Edmund and Anna McCarthy Fitzpatrick.

She went on to marry Jack Stoudt February 15, 1947.  She retired from the US 
Postal service in 1984.  She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jack, of Muir; daughter Jackie and 
Dick VanDyne of Muir; Jan and Bill Rogers of Lyons.  Six grandchildren, Mark, 
Dennis, Toni, Eric, Luke, and Bekki; two great grandchildren JeMikal and Trevor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and six brothers; Joe, Clair, Gerald, 
Jim, Bob and Jack.

Upon her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial Mass 
held Saturday, 10 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul.  Visitation will be Friday evening 
from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at SS Peter and Paul where there will be a Rosary at 8 
p.m.

Anyone wishing may make Memorial Contributions to SS Peter and Paul or Lyons-
Muir First Responders.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home, Muir.
