Ionia Sentinel – Wednesday, 16 September 1959
Mrs. Lucy Stoudt, 67, died at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday at her home on route one, 
Muir, after a long illness.  She was born December 2, 1891 on a farm south of 
Lyons, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Blow.  She was married to Daniel 
Stoudt February 8, 1910.  He died in 1953.

Surviving are three sons, Gene of Muskegon, Jack and Elwood of Muir; one 
daughter, Mrs. Ethel Spencer; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 
one brother, Del Blow of Ionia and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Demorest of Ionia 
and Mrs. Edna Hansen of Seattle, Wash.

Service will be held at the First Christian church at Muir Thursday at 2 pm 
with burial at East Plains cemetery.  Arrangements were made by the Estep 
funeral home of Muir.
