Ionia Sentinel Standard-Tues.March 21, 1978

                                  JULIA STOUDT

MUIR-Julia Stoudt, 88, of 820 Lenore, Lansing, died Monday following a long 
illness.

She was born Julia Vance, February 24, 1890 in ionia county near Pewamo and 
married Roy Stoudt September 4, 1912.


She lived her entire married life in the area until the death of her husband 
in 1970. For the past eight years she has lived with her daughter, Alice 
Eldridge of Lansing.

Survivors include her daughter, a granddaughter, Mrs.Carol Kienke, a grandson 
Bruce Eldridge, three grandchildren and a brother, Carey Vance of Fort 
Lauderdale, Florida.

Services are Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from Estep Funeral home with Rev. Charles 
Landon of First Baptist church officiating.

Burial is in East Plains Cemetery

Memorial contributions may be made to the women's Home at 510 West Willow, 
Lansing.

Bearers are Howard, Philip and Verle Scheaffer and Philip Calvin and Bernard 
Vance.
