From the scrapbook of Bessie Townsend, Page 25, located in the Lyons, Michigan 
Museum.

1906.	

Mrs. Daniel Stoudt Jr. of North Plains, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David 
Shumway, died Monday night after a few days illness, leaving a husband and two 
children, also a large number of friends who will greatly miss her.  Funeral 
was held at Matherton Thursday.  Interment at North Plains.
