Jack H. Stoudt, age 87, of Muir passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2006. He 
was born on October 10, 1920 the son of Dan and Lucy (Blow) Stoudt.  Jack was 
a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ionia and retired from the 
Michigan Reformatory in 1978. He married Eileen Fitzpatrick on February 15, 
1947. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen, parents, brothers Gene and 
Edward and a sister, Ethel. 

Jack is survived by his daughters, Jackie (Richard) VanDyne of Muir and Jan 
(Bill) Rogers of Lyons; grandchildren Dennis, Eric, and Luke VanDyne, Rebekka 
(Shaun) McGee, Mark (Tammie) Rogers and Toni (Jason) Papendick; Great 
grandchildren JeMikal and Trevor Papendick and Madeline McGee; Step great 
grandchildren Samantha and Tyler House and Brittany and Jason Papendick; 
Special caregivers Karen Conklin and Joe Dora. 

The Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Melvin Fox at 11 a.m., Friday, 
September 22, 2006 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 434 High St., Ionia. 
Inurnment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Muir. The family will receive 
friends 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Thursday at the church. A Scriptural Wake Service 
will be held at 8 p.m., in the church. According to his wishes cremation has 
taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to Ionia Area Hospice or the 
American Legion Post #182 Walter T. Roach, Hubbardston. Complete arrangements 
are being handled by Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Ionia.
