Ionia sentinel - 11 October 1968
An Orleans resident, Mrs. Susie Stout, 91, died Thursday at United Memorial 
hospital, Grenville, where she had been a patient the past week.  Born in 
Holton, February 8, 1877, she was the daughter of Francis and A. T. Warner.  
Her husband Martin died in 1931.  She was a member of Orleans Methodist church 
and had lived in Orleans the past 50 years. 

She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Ray Clark of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Hettie Lasseter 
of Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Frank Wyckoff of Sheridan, and Mrs. Walter Hansen of 
Greenville; four sons, Amon of Lansing, Ed of Belding, Martin of Ionia and Jack 
of Belding; 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. 
Dussie Lyon of Lakeview. 

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30 pm at Huffman funeral home in Belding 
with Rev. Ralph Kline officiating.  Burial will be at Orleans Cemetery.  A 
memorial has been established for Orleans Methodist church.  Family will be at 
the funeral home from 2 until 4 pm and 7 until 9 Friday and Saturday.
