July 17, 2019 BRUCE STOUT, 70 Bruce Stewart Stout, 70, passed away unexpectedly July 13, 2019. He most recently celebrated 43 years of marriage to his wife, Barbara Stout. Bruce was born Dec. 4, 1948, the son of Oliver and Edith (Rosenburger) Stout and grew up in Berkley, Mich. A U.S. Army Ranger, he served his country during the Vietnam War. In his civilian life he continued to protect and serve with the Michigan Department of corrections in Ionia. After his retirement he enjoyed hobbies such as woodworking, traveling and flying model airplanes. He was involved in the local VFW in Lowell and a member of the Gun Club, QASI Riverside and NRA. Bruce will be greatly missed by his surviving wife Barbara; brother Greg and two sons Paul and Jaxson. Bruce had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He leaves behind his grandsons Alex and Ryker Stout and granddaughters Taylor Stout and McKenna Nietupski. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Don. A Memorial service will be held at South Boston Bible Church, Lowell, MI on Aug. 3, 2019, at 4 p.m. with visitation and luncheon following.
