Funeral services for Terence Stowe, 57, Ionia Star route farmer were conducted 
by the Rev. William A. Pixley of the Ionia Baptist church at the Palo Baptist 
church Thursday afternoon at 2:30.  The Rev. Frank I. Osborn, of Albion, a 
former pastor at the Palo church assisted in the services.

Mrs. George Tasker and Mrs. Morris Stearns were in charge of the music.  
Pallbearers were Ellis Bignell, George Tasker, Glenn Ackerson, Morris Sterns, 
Lem Gladding and Tom Lennox.  Interment was in the family lot in the Palo 
cemetery.

The funeral services followed short prayer services conducted at the Boynton 
funeral home in Ionia at one o’clock.

Mr. Stowe was fatally injured Monday in an auto accident on M-21 about 12 
miles west of Grand Rapids near Hudsonville.

Out of town relatives who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Stowe of Waukesha, 
Wis., John Hanson, Miss Rose Hanson and Mrs. Vera Slater of Grand Rapids and 
Mr. and Mrs. Rollie Paulson of Cadillac.
