The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, July 29, 1955
Arthur F. Stowe, 86, of Pewamo died early Friday morning at the Cook’s 
Convalescent home in Ionia where he had been a patient for three years.  He is 
survived by a son, Claude, and one daughter, Mrs. Earl Graham, and one 
grandson, all of Ionia.

Mr. Stowe was a deputy sheriff in Pewamo for a number of years and was a part 
time office deputy for former Sheriff Moon Franch.  He was also a Lyons 
township justice of the peace for several years.  

The body is at the George funeral home in Fowler.  No further arrangements 
have been made at this time.
