Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Wed. March 4, 1992

IONIA- Gertrude E. Stowell, 78, of Ionia died Tuesday in Lowell.

She was born February 9, 1914, in Ionia, the daughter of John and Johanna 
Flurer Neustifter.

She was the Easton Township Treasurer for 16 years.

She is survived by her son Russell and her daughter Judy Lobdell of Ionia; four 
grandchildren; one great grandson; and her sister Clara Dalstra of Lowell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Russell in 1980, her step-daughter 
Beverly Redemsky in 1981, and three brothers.

Private funeral be held for the immediate family only.

Burial will be in the Easton cemetery.

A memorial has been established for Ionia Area Hospice, in care of Cook Funeral 
Home, Ionia.
