The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, September 23, 1961


Funeral service for Mrs. Clara B. Stowell, 84, who died Tuesday evening in an 
Ionia convalescent home, was held Friday afternoon.  The Rev. Howard E. Bull 
of Saranac conducted the service.  Bearers were Bruce Metzger, Alex Sibley, 
John Neustifter and Ervin Redemsky.

Those attending from away were Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Redemsky and family of South 
Bend, Ind., Mrs. Rachel Helmer and Harry Thomas of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn 
Hattis of Lansing, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest David of Saranac, and Carl Metzger of 
California.
