Ionia Weekly Standard  Friday, April 8, 1910

Alex C. Strachan of North Plains died on Tuesday. He was born in the same 
township, and was widely known. Funeral at 1 p.m. Friday, at Union church, 
North Plains.


Alex Strachan prominent (???????????????) North Plains, died Wed. morning, 
stage nearing 70. Mrs. Boltz of this city went to the stricken home this 
morning.
