Mr. Strahan was a WWI veteran and lived at 715 Harrison St., and was a resident of Belding for the past 19 years. He was born at Fife Lake and had the occupation of chrome plater for 26 years, having been employed by Reo in Lansing, Federal Mogul in Greenville and Saranac Mfg. Survivors are his wife, Ruth; a son Wayne of Mason; a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Geraldine) Malcom of Olney, Ill., and two granddaughters, Kathryn and Rita. Funeral services were held at the Ellis Funeral Home on Monday at 2 p.m. with Rev. H.S. Ellis officiating. Burial was in Otisco cemetery.
