Portland Review & Observer - Nov. 8, 2009

Richard D. Strang, 73, of Portland, passed away on Nov. 1, 2009. He was born on 
Sept. 22, 1936 in Lansing the son of Charles and Florence (Hogle) Strang. Dick 
was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the K of C Council 2168 in 
Portland. He was a specifications engineer at General Motors retiring after 33 
years of service. Dick is a graduate of the Eastern High School Class of 1955.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister. Surviving 
areh is wife of 51 years, Joyce (Patrick); daughter Kimberly (Michael) Fedewa; 
sons Mark Strang, Jeffrey Strang, Richard Strang and Barry (Leslie) Strang; 
loving grandchildren; sister Barbara (Gerald (Davis; many nieces, nephews and 
cousins.

The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Nov. 4 at St. Patrick Church with 
Rev. Larry King, presiding. Rite of Committal followed at Danby Cemetery. 
Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.
