Thelma B. Strickling, 78, of Waco Texas died Wednesday in St. Francis Hospital 
in Evanston, Ill.

She was born Jan. 25, 1902, in Lake Odessa, the daughter of Robert and Daisy 
(Mitchell) Bliss.

She graduated from Ionia High School.  She married Claude Strickling in 1967 and 
they made their home in New York.

He preceded her in death in 1972 and she moved to Waco where she made her home.

She as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Pine Bluff, Ark.

She is survived by two sons; one daughter; one sister and seven grandchildren.

Arrangements by Leddick Funeral Home (Ionia).  Burial in Palo cemetery.
