Mary Lou Strickling, age 73, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2005 in Ruskin, 
Florida.  She was a long time area resident and former owner/operator of Mary’s 
Cake and Bridal Shop in Grand Ledge. 

She is survived by daughters, Charyle Strickling of Grand Ledge, Rebecca (Paul) 
McLeod of Charlotte, Mary Lynette (Brian) Wilkes of Grand Ledge, and Jill 
Pitchford of Portland, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother, 
Norman (Bettie) Dennis of Clarksville, Tenn., sister, Sherry (Fred) Miller of 
Ionia.  She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore in 1998, and son 
Theodore in 1988.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home 
in Grand Ledge.  Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be 
Thursday at 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Memorial contributions may 
be made to the American Diabetes Association.
