Karon Kay Strimback, 49, of 11962 Saubee Lake Road, Lake Odessa died Sunday in a
house fire at her residence.  She was born Oct. 20, 1943, in Lake Odessa, the
daughter of Lester and Louise Shellenbarger Pennington.  She was graduated from
Lake Odessa High School.  She married Cecil Strimback on June 17, 1961.

She is survived by two sons, Perry of Lake Odessa and Ryan at home; one
daughter, Patricia Ray of Lake Odessa; five grandchildren; her parents; two
brothers, Vaughn Pennington of Lake Odessa and Lonnie Pennington of Clarksville;
four sisters; Martha Kidder and Lynn Pennington of Lake Odessa, Joan Warren of
Delton, and Elaine Gorodenski of Nashville.  She was preceded in death by a
daughter, Cynthia Louise and a son, Kevin Cecil.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, at the Lakewood United Methodist Church,
with the Rev. George Aton and the Rev. Ward Pierce officiating.  Burial will be
in the Lakeside Cemetery.  The family will be at Koops Funeral Chapel, in Lake
Odessa, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.  A memorial has been established for the
Ryan Strimback Trust, in care of the funeral home or the Union Bank of Lake
Odessa.  The family will be at Koops Funeral Chapel, in Lake Odessa from 2-4 and
