Ionia Standard, 13 May 1904

Mrs. Nancy E. Strong passed to her eternal rest on Sunday at 9 o’clock a.m. at 
the home, No. 433 East Main St.  Funeral service attended at the late home on 
Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock with interment in the Easton cemetery. 

Mrs. Nancy E. Strong was born at Camillius, Onondaga Co., N.Y., on June 30th, 
1835.  She was married to Isaac Strong of Sennett, N.Y., on Dec. 2, 1855, and 
came direct to Michigan, making her home in Easton township, where she resided 
until 1898, since which time, she has made her home with her daughters, Mrs. 
David Thomas and Miss Blanche N. Strong in this city.

The deceased is survived by four children, Mrs. D. Thomas, Arthur, Eugene, and 
Blanche N. Strong, to whom she was a most devoted mother, and who in turn gave 
her most tender care in her declining years.
