The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, April 13, 1966

Funeral service for Mrs. Emma B. Strong of Oak Park, who died suddenly at her 
home Friday, was Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  The Rev. Elmer Scheifer of 
St. Peter Lutheran church of St. Johns officiated.

Bearers were LaWayne Maynard, Frank Gaut, Donald Hill and Fred Meisling.  
Burial was in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
