STRONG, ROBERT C.:
   IONIA SENTINEL STANDARD, MI, Sat., April 12, 1924, front page:  "Robert C.
Strong, age 23, passed away at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. G.
Taylor, who live about two miles from Saranac.  Besides his parents he leaves
three sisters, Mrs. Joe Hummell, of Grand Rapids; Miss Lena Strong, at home, and
Mrs. Arthur Hopkins, West Main street.  The funeral will be held from the
Bradley chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Rev. Charles J. Kruse will
officiate, and burial will be in the Easton cemetery."

   IONIA ST. STD., Thursday, April 17, 1924, p 3:  "The funeral services for
Robert Strong were largely attended from the Bradley chapel Tuesday afternoon at
2 o'clock.  Rev. Charles J. Kruse conducted the services.  The bearers were
Lloyd Alspaugh, Earl Alspaugh, Charles Watkins, Perry Watkins, Harold Simmons,
and Alden Simmons, all relatives.  The music was furnished by Joseph Hummell, of
Grand Rapids, a brother-in-law.  Burial took place in the family lot in the
Easton cemetery."
