Services Held for Richard Strouse

Richard E. Strouse, 48, of 2155 Detroit St., Lincoln Park, passed away Wednesday 
morning at the Oakwood Hospital at Dearborn where he had been hospitalized about 
a month.

He was born at Rockford April 13, 1928, the son of Leslie and Frances (Geer) 
Strouse and was a self-employed truck driver and owner and operated his own 
business.

Mr. Strouse had lived in the Detroit area the last 14 years. He married Donna 
Alexander March 20, 1962 in Miami, Okla.

Surviving are his wife; one son, Eugene of Amarillo, Texas; four daughters, 
Mrs.Ronald (Charlotte) French of Wayland, Mrs.Deborah Daugherty of Trenton, 
Miss., Brenda Wilson of Lewisburgh, W.Virginia and Miss Kathy Wilson, at home; 
three brothers, Vernon Strouse of Lowell, Ellsworth and Leslie of Hastings; two 
sisters, Mrs.A.J. (Ellen) Young of Lake Odessa and Mrs.Robert (Alvena) Baldry of 
Freeport; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 19 at 1L30 at the Pickens-Koops 
Funeral Chapel at Lake Odessa. Rev John Ambrose of Lincoln Park officiated with 
burial in Lakeside cemetery.
