Lake Odessa Wave-Thursday March 12, 1953

WALTER STROTHER DIED IN LANSING TUES.
Walter Strother 77, died at the Sparrow Hospital Lansing, Tuesday. He had been a 
resident of the Algodon district for many years and was a retired farmer.

Mr. Strother who was in ill health when taken ill while in Tampa, Fla., several 
months ago accompanied his son Max to E. Lansing where he has since resided.

His wife the former Luta Rogers died about 27 years ago. Other survivors include 
another son Rex of Beaver Pa. and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 10 AM at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral 
Home, Lansing, with burial in Lakeside cemetery, Lake Odessa.
