Excerpts from Grand Rapids obituary
West Michigan DEATH

Frances "Fannie" Struble 
Died Friday, January 9, 1948-age 80 
Fannie was the granddaughter of a Revolutionary War Veteran.
His name was John Peter Frank, he joined the 6th battalion, Lancaster company 
associates, at age 16.
Fannies's mother was born when her father, Frank was 81 years old.
Fannie moved to Grand Ledge in 1938 from Flint. She formerly lived at Lake 
Odessa.
Survivors are her husband, Louis Struble; two brothers Emerson of Nashville and 
Leslie Russell of Lansing, and a sister, Mrs. A. L. Rathburn of Grand Ledge.
Services were held Monday at her home, with burial at Lakeside cemetery, Lake 
Odessa.
