The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, January 2, 1974

Muir—Mrs. Margaret Strunk, 90, of route 1, Decker road, Orleans, died early 
Tuesday morning at Ionia Memorial hospital following a short illness.  

Born in Dallas township, Clinton county, June 26, 1884, she was the daughter 
of James and Ella Clark Frazer.  She was housekeeper for many years for the 
late Gov. Fred W. Green.  In 1943 she was married to Walter Strunk who died in 
January of 1958.

Among her survivors is a brother, Andrew Frazer of Orleans.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hull Memorial chapel in 
Muir.  Rev. Richard Harrison of the Lyons Baptist church will officiate and 
interment will be at the Highland Park cemetery.
