Stuart, 64, who died suddenly Monday morning of a heart attack.He was found in the kitchen of his home by Mrs.Stuart. Surviving are the widow, Lynne, three sons, Neil of Hyattsville, MD.; Robert of Bay City and Lester of this community; twos step-children, Edwin Nash of Clarksville, and Mss.Leo Mc Alary of Ionia; two brothers, Ensley and Archie of Clarksville, and eight grandchildren. The funeral services were attended by a throng which packed the church to pay last respects to a man beloved to all who knew him as a friend, neighbor and associate in the business, social and fraternal activities of his community. He was a man whose attractive personality, upright life and works will for always be remembered. His influence for good in the village and countryside, he loved so well with always stand as a monument in the hearts of his relatives and fellow citizens. Mt.Stuart was a keen analyst of economical and political trends and his opinion on many subjects was sought and respected by many. He was a member of the Masonic and Odd Fellow Fraternities, a former official of the village and at the time of his death was president of the Clarksville Protective Association.He was a pioneer in the cooperative movement for farmers in Michigan. He had for a great many years been connected with the Clarksville elevator and was office manager for the concern of the time of his demise. The services Wednesday were in charge of Rev.Fred Williams of Baroda, with John Beattle in charge of arrangements. Interment was in South Boston Cemetery. Clarksville, his home community of South Boston and his county and state have indeed lost a most estimable personality a true and tried friend and neighbor.
