Robert Stuart, 56, who lived his early life in this community passed away last 
week in an Ann Arbor Hospital after a few weeks’ illness with hepatitis and 
complications.  He lived in Bay City, where he had been a teacher in the 
school system for many years.  His wife, the former Julia Koewers, a son, 
Robert Lee in the U. S. Army, stationed at Fort Belvidere, Virginia, a 
daughter, Margo of Bay City, and two grandchildren survive.  Funeral services 
were held in Bay City Tuesday and interment was in Clarksville Cemetery.

Dr. and Mrs. Neil Stuart of Silver Springs, Maryland, who came to Michigan to 
attend his brother’s funeral, were callers Wednesday at the Wilbur Young home.
