Stuck, 70, of 64 Mill St., died Tuesday evening at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born in Canada Sept. 4, 1909 to James and Ella Albertson Stuck. He was a tool and die maker at Lescoa before his retirement. He was a past charter member of the Eagles of Big Rapids and a past school teacher in Newaygo. Mr. Stuck married Lena Spino in Grand Haven in 1955. Besides his wife, he is survived by six sons, James Stuck of Grand Haven, Merritt and Michael Stuck, both of Florida, Robert Gardner of Saranac, Daniel Stuck of Grand Rapids, Joseph Stuck of Flat Rock; three daughters, Marie Storey of Grand Haven, Louise Jacobs of Alaska, Mich., Maria Randolph of North Carolina; five brothers, Harold Stuck of Lansing, Loren Stuck of Delton; Erving Stuck of Oregon, Thurlow Stuck of Delton, Murray Stuck of Delton; one sister, Mildred Lang of Iowa; 33 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday morning at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Saranac with the Rev. Fr. Mark Mitchell of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Ionia will officiate. Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery. Rosary will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. The family will receive friends and relatives from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
