Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 20 Apr 1920

Hubbardston - C.L. Stuck died Thursday.  He suffered from cancer of the stomach 
and death came as a relief to end his pain.  He was the third civil war veteran 
to die in this village within a period of 33 days.  He was 84 years old.  Funeral 
was held from the home Sunday and was under the auspices of the Masonic lodge.  
masons from this place and Maple Rapids attended.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried 
in Eastside Cemetery at Hubbardston.]
