Stuck passed away at her home about one o’clock Tuesday morning, October 25, after a lingering illness which became more serious about three weeks ago. Minnie Townsend was born in New York state fifty-eight years ago on October 14, coming to this community when she was two years old. On February 22, 1892 she was united in marriage to Charles R. Struck of Hubbardston, to which union three children were born, a son dying in infancy. She has spent practically all her life in Hubbardston, moving to Mt. Pleasant for about one and one-half years in 1900, then coming back here. The funeral will be held Thursday at the residence at two o’clock, Rev. F. N. Drake officiating. She leaves besides her husband to mourn, two daughters, Mrs. Flossie DeByle of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Lottie Cranson of Hubbardston; several grandchildren and three brothers, Fred of Detroit, Gene of Grand Rapids, and Frank in California and many friends. Interment will be in the East Side cemetery.
