The Lake Odessa Wave, Thursday, April 14, 1960

Gary Studt, 81, route one, retired farmer of Carlton twp. Passed away Saturday 
afternoon at Pennock hospital, where he was hospitalized for six days.  He was 
born on the farm where he lived and had spent most of his life and had also 
lived where the son Fay now resides.  His parents were Frederick and Matilda 
Peterman Studt.  He married Elizabeth Brooks in 1901.

Surviving are his wife; one son Fay; four grandchildren and nine great 
grandchildren.  A daughter Mrs. Edna Bustance passed away in 1955.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 at the Pickens funeral chapel with 
burial in Lakeside cemetery.  Rev. William Ernest officiated.
