Stump, 52, farmer near Pewamo for the past 18 years, died of a heart attack Thursday at 1 p.m. at his farm home. He married the former Rose Schafer April 19, 1921. They farmed in Eagle township for ten years before moving to Pewamo. Surviving are the wife; three sons, Robert of Pewamo and Melvin and Leon at home; three daughters, Julia Stump at home, Mrs. George Koenigsknecht of Pewamo and Sister Rosanne, Sister of the Christian Charity church in Chicago; his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Frank Stump Sr., of Westphalia; two sisters, Mrs. Pieus Fedewa of Pewamo and Mrs. Norman Pung of Westphalia; and six brothers, George of Lansing, Walter, of Chicago, Raymond and John of Westphalia and Henry of Fowler. The body was taken to the Geller funeral home in Westphalia before removal to the family home until the time of service. Funeral service will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph’s church in Pewamo with interment in St. Joseph cemetery.
