Belding – Ida M. Sturgeon, 83, died Sunday at Eaton Rapids.  A former Belding
resident, Mrs. Sturgeon was born July 12, 1892, at Maple Valley.  She was a
member of First Baptist Church, Belding, and Doric Chapter 75, OES, Belding.

Her husband, Neil L. Sturgeon, died in 1949.  Survivors are a daughter, Mrs.
Carroll (Marian) Slayton, Eaton Rapids; a brother, Warren Rich, Ionia; and three
grandsons.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Huffman Funeral Home, with interment at
River Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation at the funeral home will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
