Robert Joseph Sturm, 63, of 8860 Kimball Rd. Lyons died Thursday at Blodgett 
Memorial Medical Center.  He was born October 24, 1928, in Lyons Township the 
son of Albert and Margaret Reis Sturm.  He married the former Martha Majinska 
in October of 1960.

He attended Pewamo Public Schools.  He was a retired tool and die maker who had 
been employed by Chrysler Trim Plant of Lyons.  He also farmed for many years.

He is survived by his wife; his son Robert of Lyons, three daughters, Diane 
Sterner of Pewamo, Brenda Norton of Freeport, and Debra Sturm of Westland, two 
sisters, Bernadette Bissell of Pewamo and Rita Motz of St. Johns, his half 
sister Margaret Elliott of Perrington, and five grandchildren.  He was preceded 
in death by one brother and a grandson.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, at Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir, with 
the Rev. Joseph Pettit officiating.  Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery.  The 
family will be at the funeral home Friday afternoon and evening.  A memorial 
has been established for the Heart Fund, in care of the funeral home.
