Christopher W. Sturm, 30, of Belding, passed away Monday evening, Jan. 20, 2003,
at United Memorial Health Center, Greenville.  He was born March 14, 1972, in
Lansing, the son of John and Marie Shepard Sturm.

During his life, Christopher overcame many health struggles and never complained
about the burdens he faced.  He had a deep faith in Jesus Christ and is now at
peace with the angels.  Christopher will be greatly missed by his family and
friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and his paternal grandparents.  He is
survived by his mother, Marie; his brothers and sisters, Mike and Tammy Sturm,
Maggie Sturm, John and Karen Sturm, all of Ionia, and Erik Sturm of Belding;
three nephews, Austin, Michael and Brenden; his grandparents, Warren and Anna
Shepard of Zephyrhills, Fla.; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding,
with Pastor Ken Martin of Belding Bible Church officiating.  Interment is in
River Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation is two hours prior to the service.  Memorial
contributions may be made to The House, a facility in Ionia that assists the
physically and mentally challenged.
