Ionia Sentinel Standard, 28 Apr 1997

Muir- John Sturm, 47, died suddenly Friday morning at his residence.  He was
born June 13, 1949 in St. Johns, the son of Gerald and Vada (Bissell) Sturm and
was a 1968 graduate of Ionia High School.  He was employed as a truck driver for
Oldsmobile and Local #652.  He was also a member of the Miller Road Bible Church
in Lansing.

He was married to the former Evolyn Fitch in Lansing June 20, 1971.

He is survived by his wife, Evolyn; three sons, Chris of Belding, Michael of
Ionia and John of Lyons; one daughter, Maggie of Lyons; two brothers, Harry of
Lansing and Anthony of Lyons; two sisters, Maretta Sturm of Lansing and Annitta
Fyan of Ionia; and two grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir with
Rev. William Barber of Miller Road Bible Church in Lansing officiating.  Burial
will be in Lyons Cemetery.
