Ionia Standard, 10 May 1907

The funeral service for Winnie Sturtevant, at Presbyterian church, on Sunday
afternoon, was largely attended.  The schoolmates from the room of Miss McLaren
attended in a body.  The floral testimonials were profuse and beautiful.  The
service was by Rev. W.K. Spencer, D.D., pastor of the church; the singing was by
Mrs. E. Smith, Mrs. Thane Benedict and Mrs. W.C. Peer.  The bearers were:
Clinton Bowerman, Tobias Heberly, Wm. Patterson and Glenn Schutz.
