There was one train standing still and another approaching the crossing at south Main street. Mrs. Sullivan evidently became confused, and stepped right in front of the moving train. She was 76 years old, and came here forty years ago from Ireland. Three daughters of the aged woman survive her at Ionia, Metamora and Lapeer.
